does Jira provide anywhere I can plan my backlog and see sub tasks at the same time as stories and tasks

Unfortunately Jira only lets you see subtasks in the backlog if you are using Kanplan, i.e., On a Kanban board. Its quite infuriating really, but his seems to a request ignored by a Jura for a long time, Happy to accept that the backing is for prioritising but that leaves no place for planning.
